These artisanal prints are made in our workshop in La Rochelle.

The Zarafa giraffe was offered to Charles X by Mehemet Ali as a token of friendship. An original gift to say the least!
It was the first giraffe to wear hooves in France and more precisely in Paris. Naturalized after milk indigestion in 1845 (yes, you can't make it up), she is now on display at the Natural History Museum in La Rochelle.

For centuries, it served as a model and muse for many writers (including Honoré de Balzac), sculptors and artists, as for this engraving by Charles d'Orbigny.

A poster so cult for us, that we put it on all our communication tools, since our beginnings. Zerafa's adventure continues...
